The Rotary Club of Wagga Wagga Sunrise is organising the Riverina’s largest Garden and Leisure Festival on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 October 2012. It is anticipated 10,000 to 15,000 people will attend the beautiful Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens to see and learn about the latest trends and developments in the garden and associated leisure craft industries.
Some of the businesses invited will be plant nurseries, lavender displays and products, lawncare, sprinkler systems, landscapers, sporting goods, camping gear, fishing tackle, craft stalls, outdoor furniture, tools, pools and spas, garden implements, florists, boating, travel, caravans, 4 wheel drives, local produce and loads more.
The hours of the Festival will be on Saturday, 20 October, 10.00 am to 5.00 pm, and Sunday 21 October, 9.00 am to 4.30 pm. Admission is free.
Rotary Club of Wagga Wagga Sunrise annual Ladies… Let’s Do Lunch is on Sunday, 26 August 2012. This is one of the Club’s major fundraising events and will be held at the Wagga Wagga Country Club stareting at 12 noon. It is a day of fine food, great friends, company and lots of laughs.
During the course of the day, there will be $20 envelopes for sale and what could be found inside is anyone’s guess. All envelopes are guaranteed to enclose a gift valued at over $20.
There are some fantastic prizes in the ‘Silent Auction”. The highest silent bidder wins.
Raffle tickets are available for a chance to win a generous Myers Beauty Basket of faous brand cosmetics.

Sunrise Rotary provided catering for this event on 28 May which was held for the first time outside Sydney. Hundreds of competitors from throughout NSW competed at an extremely high level in order to be considered for selection for the National Titles to be held later this year.
Sunrise Rotary provides catering for the many hundreds of car enthusiasts who attend this annual event which was last held on Sunday July 17. Spare parts for old and new cars are sold or exchanged along with many automotive accessories. The Wagga Wagga Swap Meet attracts automotive enthusiasts from throughout NSW and Victoria.
Sunrise Rotary cleans up a designated area along the Sturt highway between the Olympic way turn off and the San Isadore turnoff. We undertook this community service this year on Sunday 7 August.
This annual event was run on Sunday 21 August starting and finishing at the Wagga beach and following the picturesque Wiradjuri Walking Trail that surrounds Wagga Wagga. Sunrise Rotary provides catered food throughout the day for the marathon runners, support crews and spectators.
This annual event brings MG enthusiast from all over southern Australia along with their highly collectable classic and vintage vehicles. This year the event was held on Sunday 11 September in the car park next to the Tourist Information Centre. Sunrise Rotary provided breakfast for some 170 people in Wagga to attend the meet.
Sunrise Rotary is the exclusive caterer for this annual event held in early October where hundreds of rare and unique motorcycles come together for a gathering at the Wagga Wagga Beach car park.
